With a reputation for integrity, persistence and commitment to his clients, Michael Meyer brings more than 25 years of entrepreneurial, business development, and negotiating experience to Benjamin Ross Group’s clients. A former owner of multiple successful businesses in the entertainment, publishing, retail and corporate gift fields, Michael is not only skilled in closing deals, he is an experienced entrepreneur.

While in high school, Michael started his first company at age 17 and by the time he reached 30, he had launched multiple businesses, employing hundreds of people. Michael brings to the table an in depth knowledge of business, financing, deal structuring, and extensive experience in all phases of the acquisition process. In addition, he is a Certified Business Intermediary (CBI) – a highly regarded designation in the business brokers’ field which involves extensive education and testing, and trains brokers in the International Business Brokers Association code of ethics.

As a member of the Benjamin Ross Group team, Michael has successfully represented many businesses for sale and business buyers. He has assisted with the sale and purchase of a wide array of small and large businesses including, family-owned, women-owned, minority-owned, and franchises in a myriad of industries. The Benjamin Ross Group has sold more than 95 percent of the businesses they have represented which is exponentially higher than the national average of 20%.

Michael strives to provide unparalleled service to clients. He exhibits a high level of professionalism and expertise in all business transactions. Having experienced it himself, Michael understands the highly emotional decisions owners face when buying or selling a business. He believes that his experience both as a business owner and a mergers and acquisitions professional, and the know how of the Benjamin Ross Group team, has positioned the company as a leader in the Mid-Atlantic area.

Michael graduated from Temple University and was a nationally ranked tennis player. He is now actively involved in numerous volunteer organizations and enjoys spending time with his children, coaching from the sidelines at their baseball and soccer games. He is an avid tennis player and Philadelphia sports fan. Back in the college days, Michael used to be a DJ where he learned the ins and outs of running a grassroots business.
