Philadelphia, PA – May 4, 2010 – Michael Lefkowitz, founder and managing partner of the Benjamin Ross Group, a business broker / merger and acquisition firm, and also chairman of the scholarship committee of Golden Slipper Club and Charities, is pleased to announce the awarding of $136,000 in scholarships to deserving students in the Greater Philadelphia area.

Since the early 1940's "Slipper Scholars" has awarded scholarships to outstanding students, many of whom themselves have become leaders in the Philadelphia regional community in which they live and work. Students are awarded based on financial need, community service, character and overcoming adversity.
