Michael has more than 30 years of business sales experience.
Michael has received the prestigious "Merger & Acquisition Master Intermediary" (M&AMI) designation from M & A Source, a division of the International Business Brokers Association. Only 68 people in the world hold this elite status. In addition, Michael is a Certified Business Intermediary (CBI) – a highly regarded designation in the business brokers' field which involves extensive education and testing, and trains brokers in the International Business Brokers Association code of ethics.
Michael Meyer, a partner with the Benjamin Ross Group, a business sales, mergers and acquisitions firm, is a nationally recognized mergers and acquisitions business intermediary and author of Deal Killers: What to Avoid When Selling Your Business, a practical guide for current and future business owners who will, at some point, consider the sale of their business.
With a reputation for integrity, persistence and commitment, Michael Meyer brings more than 35 years of entrepreneurial, business development, and negotiating experience to his clients. A former owner of multiple successful businesses in the entertainment, publishing, retail and corporate gift fields, Michael is not only skilled in closing deals, he is an experienced entrepreneur.
Lea Ward is the Marketing Manager at Benjamin Ross Group, where she is responsible for all marketing efforts and public relations at the firm. She brings 15 years of marketing experience including marketing research, customer service, and social media. Lea has held various positions with increasing responsibility at various public and privately held companies.
Lea's diligent work ethic, experience, professionalism, and attention to detail are a great asset to the Benjamin Ross Group.
Beth Goodman, JD
Beth Goodman brings more than twenty years of business and negotiation services to Benjamin Ross Group's clients. As a law school graduate and former litigation attorney, Beth has extensive knowledge in understanding legal contracts and complex business negotiations.
Beth is involved in deal structuring and financing. She serves as a liaison between the lenders and the clients and is the point of contact for all inquirers that come into the firm regarding financing. Beth also navigates the parties through due diligence and manages the closing checklist from the bank.
Leigh Kelly, MBA
Leigh is the Director of Buyer Relations at the Benjamin Ross Group. Some of her responsibilities include qualifying buyers and performing financial analysis. Leigh brings more than 11 years of business and customer service experience to the company. She has a background in both business and real estate.
Leigh earned both her MBA degree and bachelor’s degree from Penn State University. She currently resides in Washington Crossing, PA with her husband and three daughters. In her free time she enjoys spending time with her family, exercising, riding horses and reading.
